- sportfish drawing 5.5 ft+
- large motoryachts on a spring low
Coral Ridge fingers are the shoal that makes a “Fort Lauderdale yacht neighborhood” listing a center-console neighborhood. Five and a half feet is the planning depth on the back canal in our graph. Harbor Beach is twelve. Las Olas fairway is nine and a half. This is not those. A Boston Whaler 420 belongs. A Viking 54 does not, tide story or not.
Obstacle 13 on edge 68 (Coral Ridge back canal). Related edges 66–69 step from an eight-foot ICW cut down to 5.5. Oakland Park Boulevard is the span on the way in. Commercial Boulevard is the northbound surprise. We keep a channel URL so “Coral Ridge yacht canal” searches get a depth, not a lifestyle paragraph. Approximate seed depth; after a dry spring, less.
