Coral Ridge to Port Everglades is a longer ICW commute than Las Olas, with a shoal that happens at home. Oakland Park and Sunrise sit near twenty-five feet closed. 17th Street is fifty-five. None of that saves a five-and-a-half-foot finger. The route URL exists because owners treat “south to the inlet” as one product. It is an ordered gauntlet plus a backyard that may already have lost.
Start at the finger: 5.5 ft is usually the fail before any ICW span. If you clear the backyard, Oakland Park then Sunrise at ~25 ft, Las Olas at ~31, 17th Street at ~55, then Port Everglades. Hillsboro is the other mouth — different route, different bar. Approximate seed geometry. Map deep link included.
Typical planning figures and neighborhood patterns only. Not legal, tax, insurance, or survey advice. Confirm with counsel, the city, the carrier, and a surveyor before you act.
Is Hillsboro closer?
For some lots, yes. It is a different bar. See Coral Ridge to Hillsboro. Do not mix the mouths.
